The Map It Forward team has created a safe space and community for new roasters and coffee businesswomen and men. We started our roastery in spring of 2020 with no real knowledge of what we were doing. With a global pandemic further keeping the World constrained, Lee’s knowledge and genuine concern for the success of small business owners, has catapulted our knowledge and understanding into the coffee industry years beyond our time.

Anne Cooper our roasting sensei, also part of the Map It Forward team, has been able to coach me through every stage of my beginner roaster development. She has walked me through every issue I have thrown her way and has taught our group key elements to look for, from green bean density and moisture, to learning how to map key stages throughout the entire roasting process...

The biggest take away I can truly leave you with is that Map It Forward has allowed our company and myself as a roaster to feel comfortable and confident in what we are building while reminding us we have the freedom to create in our own space within the coffee industry.
